Generally potable water in line with WHO guidelines is used as infeed water for PW systems.
If the water does not satisfy these quality requirements at the inlet to the production system then the contents can place extra load on the system's filters and membranes. This results in blockages, shorter replacement intervals and long periods of downtime. For example, the causes may be old loop networks on the premises or seasonal fluctuations from the source, such as may occur when using your own wells amongst other things.
In this case ULTRASTIL ultrafiltration is the cost-effective solution. Dissolved solids and microbiological loads are reliably filtered out, even when the infeed water quality is not consistent.
